19th century - early to mid-1800s antique English apothecary medicinal chest/cabinet with glass knobs. 20 drawers total with label remnants.

5 intact glass labels still remaining. Wonderful old world construction and details.

Features label of customer'Robert Lewis' and reference number on the front of one of the drawers from'Kennedy & McClure Associates' Bishops Stortford, Herts, England establishing provenance. Also has what looks to be a "recipe" label remnant still inside one of the drawers. Please see photos for further physical condition and details. This type of Chest or Cabinet would be used by a 19th Century Pharmacist or Druggist. Used in labs by herbalists and scientists in early chemistry labs and apothecary practices.
