Art Deco Waterfall Cedar Chest Trunk with Drawer by Lane 9492A. This gorgeous Cedar Chest is made out of wood, solid wood, cedar wood, and veneer, and is in good condition. This Chest / Trunk is a classic piece made by the fine furniture company Lane, and is stamped as such, see pictures. The stamp on the back of the piece reads "Style No 02556 / Serial No 058201", see pictures.
This piece offers brilliant Art Deco style: it features a magnificent Waterfall silhouette, lovely Art Deco features and designs, and a wonderfully stylish clock on the top apron of the piece. Please note that this clock is not in working condition.
This fabulous Cedar Chest also features a drawer on the bottom which is made of solid wood on the inside and working properly for even more storage and organizing options. The lock was taken out for safety purposes, however we do have the original key. There are some imperfections on top of the piece, see pictures, however this does not detract from the great beauty or utility of the piece. This Chest is secure and sturdy, there are some aging imperfections/scratches/touch-ups here and there due to its age and as part of its wear and tear, see pictures.The measurements are : height=26 1/2" - 32" width=43 1/4" depth=18 1/2" approx.
