Queen Anne Walnut & Pine Inlaid Chest of Drawers C1710. Queen Anne period, walnut and pine inlaid chest of drawers, Circa 1710, and later. This chest, formerly a chest on chest, now with later oak top and feet.

Blong shaped top, with carved frieze, over bank of four heights of drawers configured two short drawers over three full width drawers, each graduated in height. All with walnut veneer fronts with inlay and banding, original water gilt brass. Aised on later bracket feet. Pine case with walnut veneers, and later oak top and feet.

A period chest of drawers adapted to its current configuration, but nonetheless still charming. Several flaws, but still functional. Could be restored, used for parts or just used as it is. This chest of drawers measures approximately 103. Wide , and 53 cm (21) deep. Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. This chest of drawers is in a poor condition overall, though is structurally sound and sturdy. Couple of drawers stick a little. No locks, all original handles and escutcheons, though there is a little minor damage to a couple. Serviceable and ready to use as it is, but you will have to tolerate its age and quirks. As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc. This item can be be viewed at my workshop in Stainburn, near Otley (Leeds), LS21, by appointment only.
