Rare Antique Machinists / Carpenter Wood Tool Box Chest Cabinet Drawers 1800s. Great brass hardware with recessed pulls on front and 3 locks (no key). Decorative side handles appear to be authentically antique. Rass lock is embossed at top and says Yale Yate? Patent 1865 & April 2, 1878.

Condition is very good for a piece this age. Wood has some general wear (indents, marks, & ring mark on top). Please note some cracks in the wood (does not affect structure) on the front right corner & across the center of one side and the back left. Appears its missing a tray piece in the main compartment (theres side spat supports - left side support is partially split).

Fit and finish are excellent. Hinged lid glides and lid has a perfect seat. Drawers pull out nicely and tray is perfect fit. Nicely engineered & beautiful piece! 22-1/8 w x 13 h x 14.25 deep. Top compartment 19.75 x 12 x 6.5. Top drawer 18-5/8 l x 11 deep x 1.5 tall.
