Vintage H Gerstner & Sons Maple Wood Model W52 1 1 Drawers Machinist Tool Box/Chest. All hardware, Drawers, and Felt is in good condition. All the wood is tight, clean, and only marked by years of respectful use. The exposed two inches of inside Front Cover felt shows light fading but all other felt is clean and both looks and feels great.

I tried to take care of it because it was special to me. I have had this chest for about 45 years and kept all my model shop tools in it.

Thought we had the key, but it does not fit. The drawers have metal bottoms which are covered with green felt. I really liked that any drawer can be easily removed and carried to your work area. You come to know a Gerstner as it becomes the place where you can always find what you need, Mostly, because you put every thing back into it every time you finished using it.. It needs a new home!
