Vintage Machinist Wood Tool Chest Box Craftsman 7 Drawer Antique Hand Tools

Beautifully crafted wooden tool chest. The details on this one. Hinges and clasps are all working well. Linings are still in place.

The felt linings have some staining. The two drawers pictured are the worst of the linings.

There are some spots of wear and some stray spots of white. Paint on outside of the box.

The drawers have great dovetails and the bottoms. The front panel can be removed when the top lid is opened. Panel comes loose and can be used as a work top. Metal parts have some rust / tarnishing. The mirror has lost its. Leather handle is in good shape with some. I do not have the key. Measures 20" long x 8.5" wide x 13 tall.

Box smells a little like. Oil and a little musty.

The box has two metal pins that slide down when the lid. The front panel is supposed to be held in the. Proper place for the pins to slide into metal ringed holes. On the edge of the panel. Years of not holding the front.

Panel in place properly has caused a couple small gouges. In the front of the panel as seen in the last picture.
