Antique French Victorian Carved Walnut Marquetry Chest of Drawer Dresser

A French Victorian Chest of Drawers with Mirror from the Early 20th Century - An exceptionally crafted piece. This Chest of Drawers would compliment an array of interior styles, a perfect piece to incorporate into an existing suite. The solid walnut construction makes this piece exceptionally heavy and very well made.

The piece is finished in a drastic walnut veneer, the finish practically glows in natural lighting. The large top surface shows mild finish blemishes, the top sits straight and is not warped in any way. The pivot top mirror includes the original glass which is in nice condition for its age. Deco finials on each side of the mirror braces allows you to tighten or loosen the pivot.

The stacked 5 drawers offers a tremendous amount of storage - We were pleased to find how clean the inside of each drawer is. The top drawer is embellished with a traditional French Marquetry wood inlay motif. Each drawer includes aged brass pulls, every drawer opens and closes as it should. We do not have the key to lock each drawer, some drawers may have a broken lock mechanism, all drawer remain unlocked. The dresser stands on brass deco caster wheels which glide smoothly. Overall, this Chest of Drawers is in very nice condition with mild wear shown, any notable wear is circled in our photo gallery to reference.
