Eldred Wheeler Vintage Four Drawer Chippendale Chest, Tiger Maple

A great variety of Chippendale low (4 drawer) chests were produced throughout colonial New England. The tops of many overhung the base and were molded on the edge, as this one is. This is a simple 4 drawer chest with a hardwood top, highlighted by the dovetail joinery. As always, this Eldred Wheeler piece from the late 1970s is handcrafted of the finest sourced, most beautiful tiger maple. Brass hardware accents the drawers.
